Wyna Liu is a mixed media sculptor and fabricator based in NYC.
She received a Masters from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program in 2014.  Her work combines digital fabrication techniques with fussy hand finishing processes.  She is interested in modularity, mechanisms, and the lathe.

Wyna began her work with brass and neodymium magnets in 2015, while resident at the Museum of Arts and Design's Artist Studios program.  She uses manual machining and other metalworking techniques to create sculptures that rely on magnetic forces to take shape.

She is currently scaling down her sculptures and designs to a wearable size.
